A bit about me...

Hi - I'm John Redding, a Scottish National level medallist in distance running and a Great Britain Age Group Triathlete, with decades of experience in running, training and helping people achieving their goals. I am also an NHS physiotherapist and qualified massage therapist.

At the age of 44, I continue to perform at a national level with personal best times over 5k through to the marathon in the last year. I have competed at the World Age Group Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi and in 2023 I came 4th in the European Standard Distance Triathlon Championships in Madrid and 2nd in the Scottish Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships

I'm also a level 1 Scottish Athletics Coaching Assistant and a practising HCPC registered Physiotherapist with extensive knowledge in injury advice, strength and conditioning, biomechanics and managing running and training load for consistency and injury prevention.

I have helped athletes to achieve their running goals with a supportive, comprehensive and evidence based approach to training that athletes respond well to and are able to maintain consistency over training blocks, which is key to development.

Having a physiotherapist as a coach can be invaluable when, as is often inevitable in endurance training, structured loading and volume is required to achieve your targets
